What to Expect
This is an exciting opportunity on delivering high profile infrastructure projects within our Power team. You’ll play a significant role in ensuring our team deliver on key project milestones which will involve engaging with landowners proactively prior to, during and after construction.
As a Liaison Officer you’ll be a key part of our project team. You’ll be in daily contact with clients, contractors, landowners, farmers and occupiers to arrange access to private land for planned works, serve notices, evidence condition of land before entry, advise and agree reinstatement of land and dealing with agricultural loss claims.
You’ll be keeping parties updated and reporting on requirements by working closely with key stakeholders and their subcontractors and providing client updates through IT systems.
You’ll receive full training and inductions to ensure the required client specific expertise is developed, with ongoing mentoring whilst you develop your Utilities and Infrastructure knowledge. You’ll be given responsibility on projects and clients as part of an enthusiastic and dynamic company which prides itself on developing the best people in the Utilities and Infrastructure Sectors.
What You'll Need
Your excellent communication skills will be sought after in this role. You’ll be organised, results driven, love solving challenges and have good IT knowledge along with some commercial awareness.
You’ll have an interest in agriculture or rural affairs and may have previous experience in utilities, infrastructure or power projects, however this isn’t essential.
You’ll be out of the office for much of the time visiting landowners and clients therefore this role requires a full driving licence.
