This is an exciting time to join a growing team at Dalcour Maclaren. You’ll work with the Head of Finance and be responsible for monthly management accounts and statutory reports. You’ll manage client finance accounts and statutory accounts.
You’ll work with HR and external suppliers to manage payroll, you’ll produce and submit quarterly VAT returns, produce monthly client management packs for external clients and have overall responsibility for client bank accounts, making sure that all processes are in line with regulations.

You’ll support the Head of Finance with annual and quarterly budgets, maintain the fixed asset register, and produce the Monthly Balance Sheet
A key part of this role is mentoring and developing our team of Junior Accountants to develop a robust finance team fit for our continued business growth.

What You'll Need

You’ll be an experienced, qualified Financial Accountant with strong commercial skills and have experience of working with accounting systems such as Access Dimensions, Quickbooks, or Landmark.

You’ll have managed monthly accounts along with statutory accounts and it would be beneficial if you have managed client accounts. You’ll have great Excel skills, great attention to detail and have excellent analytical and numerical skills

You’ll have experience of working in a changing, growing business and may have managed a small finance team.

You’ll have great written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
